About the Cover

Evolution of the Earth historically was defined by four large stages of a catastrophism. The first of them was in the end of astronomical study when the Proto-Earth was explosive disintegration and the mother Earth was formed. During next the most third stages of Catastrophism in Hadean, Archean and Mesozoic-Cenozoic was formed earth crust of continents. In the Cenozoic continents became finally steady land, and the peridotite land surrounding them was deeply lowered and filled with water of the World Ocean. The geological processes of forming earth crust on power energy consistently decreasing in time.

DISCOVERY OF THE MONTH

Discovery of helium in Fraunhofer line in the solar spectrum – October 20, 1868

Brindha V

Fraunhofer lines are a set of spectral lines named after the German physicist Joseph von Fraunhofer (1787–1826). The lines were originally observed as dark features (absorption lines) in the optical spectrum of the Sun. When light passes through material and is absorbed by atoms and ions of each element (hydrogen, calcium, sodium, iron etc.) a unique set of dark lines is formed in the spectrum.

A study of functors associated with fuzzy modules

Pravanjan Kumar Rana

In this paper first we construct a functor then we study this functor as well as we investigate this functor associated with fuzzy modules. In this paper we show that:- the R-modules and R-homomorphisms form a category, where R be a ring. This category is denoted by ‘CM’; the fuzzy left R-module and fuzzy R-map form a category.

Polychelates of Selected Lanthanides: La Pr Nd Sm Gd Tb Dy. with 2,4 – dihydroxybenzophenone resin and their behavior as an antimicrobial agents

Nileshkumar M Baria, Saiyogita Sharma, Patel Vasant M, Joshi

The polymeric ligand (resin) was prepared from 2,4-dihydroxybenzophenone with 1,3-butane diol in presence of polyphosphoric acid as a catalyst at 160°C for 13 h. The poly[(2,4-dihydroxybenzophenone) 1,3-butylene] H(DHBP-1,3-BD) forms, 1:2 metal:ligand chelates with La(III), Pr(III), Nd(III), Sm(III), Gd(III), Tb(III), and Dy(III).

Cyanobacteria, its antimicrobial activity & carbon sequestration capability

Padhi SB, Samantaray SM, Swain PK

Cyanobacteria are known for their biotechnological potential including antimicrobial activities against various pathogens. An attempt was made to study the antimicrobial activity of ether, benzene and distilled water extract of some locally available Cyanobacterial strains like Anabaena cylindrica.,Oscillatoria princeps.,Lyngbya estuarii.,Microcystis aeruginosa, Anabaena sp. against some fungal and bacterial pathogens.
