A new species, Diplocentrum papillosum J.Mathew, A.K.Pradeep & M.J.Mathew is described in relation to morpho-taxonomical studies of peninsular Indian endemic orchids. This paper presents the new species' distribution, images, and its distinctive morphological traits.
